Tariffs are in NZ$ and are based on a double and may be subject to change and apply to adults, children and infants over 6 months. Cot, highchair and baby bath available. Early Check-In or Late Check-Out by arrangement only. Check-In after 9pm by arrangement only.

Our Policy
Check-in: Is available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check in after 9pm by arrangement & may attract additional fee. Payment is required on Check-In.Check-out: is by 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and/or late check-out is strictly by prior arrangement, charges may apply.
Tariffs: Seasonal/unit rates and minimum booking periods may apply. Prices may be subject to change. Extra charges may be levied e.g. for departures on public holidays. Tariff for Children and Babies over 6 months are the same as for adults. Our tariffs are reviewed annually with adjustments taking effect from 1st February.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations made up to 2 days (48 hours) before 2pm of the booked date incur no charges EXCEPT during School Holidays, Public Holiday weekends and Special Public Events (eg Taupo Cycle Challenge Weekend) when cancellations must be received at least 7 days before 2pm of the booked date to incur no charges. Thereafter, the deposit may be retained or 1 night's tariff charged to the provided credit card. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may result in the total amount for the booked accommodation being charged. Special conditions apply to Group quotations/reservations – please enquire.
Changes in Reservation Term: Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in a refund unless the motel management approve and are able to resell the booked accommodation.
Credit Card guarantees: All reservations require authorisation of a valid credit card or deposit by direct credit to our bank account. No charge will be made against the valid credit card unless the client fails to arrive for the booked accommodation or cancellation charges apply.
Smoking: Settlers Motel is a smoke free indoors. Please smoke outside away from open windows, doors and other guests, especially children. We provide ashtrays on the deck outside each unit for the safe disposal of cigarette butts. In the event of someone having smoked in the room we will engage a specialist cleaning company. We reserve the right to charge such costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.
General: Visitors are permitted at the management's discretion but in all cases must leave the premises by 10pm. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour will be charged to the registered guest. We do not allow guests pets on our premises.
Additional cleaning resulting from excessive food or drink residue, cooking odour, (eg cooking fish or other strong smelling foods leaving a lingering odour) pet odour, or smoke odour, may result in additional charges - $20 minimum or the cost of professional cleaning. Rubbish bins are provided in all units.
